Spin belongs to the experimental instrumental music. It pursues a reflexion around a post percussive thought and on the use of everyday objects. Here timers, sandpaper, kitchen whip will be the main actors, relegating the three turntables as three moving stages. The idea was to use the rotary movement of the turntables without using their main function, which is to play vinyl records. By focusing on the circular movement, I explored compositional principles based on cycles of different periods.
